Builders of Africa

Today Africa Heritage Society exists!  This is so because of many members who took it upon themselves to contribute to the then future of AHS.  We must agree that the only thing a human being is capable of doing is leave traces that they once existed.  It is these traces that one day become heritage for those who cross paths with them in the future.

Lets use this space to acknowledge those that had the foresight to contribute to Africa.  By so doing we hope to open up new gates of possibilities and inspire the builders of Africa to raise the bar and others to do same!

A member can only be featured on this website if he/she is nominated.  We therefore invite you to nominate people whom you think stand true to the principles of heritage and have contributed to what we inherit today.

This is how the process goes: Pre Nomination

1. If you are currently logged in, please logout first. You can also click here to do so – very important!
2. Once you have logged out you will see the following fields, “Name,  Email Address, Website and a big box below that”. Use those fields to fill in the details of your nominee. On “website” field please enter the link address to your nominee’s profile on the main website.Then use the “big box” below that to describe the contributions of your nominee.
3. Thereafter click submit. and your nominee will appear in the list above.  What you need to do next is vote for you nominee, by clicking on any of the stars that you think your nominee deserves.
4. You’ll notice on the right hand side (below the advertising space) “Pre Nomination Ratings”.  The system will tally up the votes and your nominee will appear there if he/she is part of the top 10.

Builders of Africa Nominations

1. If your nominee’s score gets to 100 (this may change), then we will create a special page dedicated to showcasing your nominee and his/her contributions.  Members and friends can can visit the page to vote and leave testimonials.
2. At the Year End Function we will honor the top 10 Builders of Africa according to votes accumulated on the screen.
